Responsibilities

Perform basic to advanced nerve conduction studies (NCS) in the laboratory under the indirect supervision of an EDX physician

Required

Associate degree required

Active RNCST or CNCT required, or must be registry eligible and credentialed within 12 months

A signed statement of understanding will be required

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in NCS modalities

Must demonstrate strong analytical abilities

Must have the capacity to work effectively and communicate clearly with both acute and chronically ill patients

Must adapt to the unique circumstances surrounding patient care

Motor Vehicle Operator Designation (Required): Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose

Registered EMG Tech (RNCST, CNCT)

Health Care Provider BLS – (American Heart, American Red Cross)

Preferred

Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited END training program is highly desirable

Experience in other nerve/muscle testing may be considered i.e. Intra-Operative Neurophysiological Monitoring
