They are seeking a GNC Engineer for Modeling & Simulation to support the design and validation of a high-fidelity launch vehicle simulator and collaborate with GNC teammates on the Dauntless GNC system.

Responsibilities

Support the derivation, design, implementation, and validation of a high-fidelity, six degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) launch vehicle simulator

Analyze Monte Carlo simulation results to drive the design of the Dauntless launch vehicle

Collaborate with your GNC teammates to deliver the entire Dauntless GNC system

Required

B.S. Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of modeling and simulation experience

MS. or Ph. D in those fields can substitute for 2 years' experience

A solid foundation in object-oriented Python programming and algorithmic problem-solving

A solid foundation in analytical flight dynamics and orbital mechanics

Experience using MATLAB & Simulink to model and evaluate vehicle subsystem performance

Experience with git-based source control management

Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary

Experience with LaTeX
