Hardware Development Engineer , Amazon Leo
Amazon is launching a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites through its Amazon Leo initiative to provide broadband connectivity. The Hardware Development Engineer will be responsible for designing high-speed digital and RF circuits, optimizing electronics sub-systems, and supporting the transition of designs to mass production.

Responsibilities
Design high-speed digital and/or RF circuits in collaboration with various teams
Design and optimization of different blocks of electronics sub-systems
Schematic capture and lead PCB layout design and reviews
Design DC/DC power supplies and Point of Load
Support flow-down requirement definitions and generate test plans/procedures
Board bring-up and perform test campaigns of modules and subsystems
Support design automated test systems, test fixtures and factory test
Support the transition of the designs to mass production
Qualification
Required
3+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Preferred
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
Experience with hardware/software integration and real-time systems
