Responsibilities
Developing metrics and models to evaluate and enhance the performance, safety and scalability of our self driving system
Evaluating new models or methods to assess their performance and applicability to problems
Finding new ways to gather the required data needed to improve our metrics and models
Communicating benefits and limitations of new models and metrics to partner teams
Integrating and deploying metrics and models on fleet-wide data
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in Test Engineering for robotics, autonomous vehicles, or other complex hardware/software systems
Strong background working with data
Solid understanding of physics, geometry, and dynamics
Proficiency in C++, Python, and SQL
Enthusiasm to understand a complex system and its various components
Ability to learn and utilize new frameworks quickly, employing AI tools or otherwise
Preferred
5+ years industry experience
Experience building and testing autonomous systems
Experience building ML systems
Experience using VLM's
