The intern will work closely with experienced attorneys, reviewing and drafting commercial agreements, conducting legal research, and assisting with contract management.

Responsibilities
Review and draft a wide variety of commercial agreements, including, without limitation, service provider agreements, promotion agreements, production agreements, license agreements, equipment rental agreements, booking agreements, co-promotion agreements, artist performance agreements, festival promotion agreements and consulting/independent contractor agreements
Conduct targeted legal research on various issues relating to the live entertainment business and provide clear recommendations to internal staff
Aid in performing due diligence on potential acquisition targets and other new business ventures
Communicate and interact with internal business partners and third-party attorneys to negotiate and finalize contracts
Assist with updating internal contract templates
Manage contract process and provide regular status reports to internal team members
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a U.S. ABA-accredited law school (rising 2L preferred)
Strong academic record, with an interest in music industry, intellectual property, media and contract law demonstrated through coursework or prior experience
Exceptional legal research skills, with proficiency in tools like Westlaw, LexisNexis, or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to work collaboratively
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn about the legal and business aspects of the entertainment industry
Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
