Responsibilities
Lead and manage software development projects from concept to completion, ensuring feasibility and alignment with business goals
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and risk management strategies
Collaborate with engineering teams, Business, QA, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
Plan and execute Sprint planning sessions to ensure efficient workload distribution and timely project delivery
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies
Track and report project status to senior management and stakeholders through regular updates
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness
Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, encouraging problem-solving and knowledge-sharing
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in engineering project management, applying strong engineering principles and software development expertise to deliver complex projects successfully
Experience managing multiple stakeholders through effective communication, Agile/Scrum practices, and structured project execution
Hands-on proficiency with JIRA for sprint planning, backlog management, and progress tracking, alongside advanced MS Excel skills for data-driven reporting and analysis
PMP (or equivalent) certification preferred; holds a B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred
Previous developer experience in Python/Java and AI/ML a plus
A strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG is a plus
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Comfortable working in a multi-discipline, geographically dispersed team
