The Operations/Continuous Improvement Internship position involves supporting manufacturing production and implementing process improvement activities to enhance capabilities and develop future talent for the company.

Responsibilities

Adhere to Safety and Environment policy

Comply to Quality and Food Safety requirements

Understand production demands, plans and requirements at SKU level

Lead and support process execution by developing and maintaining SOPs, workflow maps, and time studies to improve efficiency

Track, monitor and drive results of key performance indicators (KPI’s): OEE and downtime calculations, Process Loss, Cost Impact

Discover key leadership competency at the work place: Plan and align teamwork between departments & ensure accountability, Manage complexity, ambiguity & conflict as needed, Observe and discuss business insights & financial acumen, Collaborate & communicate effectively, Focus on the needs of the customer

Opportunity to be involved in: Productivity Teams: problem solving and continuous improvement activities, Data collection and manipulation, Process and equipment capacity analysis, Trouble shooting and equipment setup alongside the maintenance and operations teams

Required

Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree program related to a business or engineering field

Basic understanding of OEE, plant performance, root cause analysis, 5S, the continuous improvement process and Six Sigma tools

Excellent verbal and oral communication skills and be able to influence others

Eager to learn and challenge yourself (strong initiative, self-directed, detail oriented, and reliable)

Strong statistical skills include but not limited to statistical process control (SPC), capacity analysis, linear regressions, categorical data analysis and design of experiment (DOE)

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Be able to work 12 consecutive weeks during the months of May - August, 2026
