Responsibilities
Own the Business Health and Growth: Take full P&L accountability for your product portfolio, establishing and driving key business metrics, OKRs, and growth targets in close partnership with BU leadership and Finance
Define and Execute Global Strategy: Develop a multi-year product and market strategy to build a high-growth business across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud deployments, ensuring technical and business alignment with key ecosystem partners
Drive Executive-Level Alignment and Vision: Influence and collaborate with the Executive Team to establish the scope and goals for major growth initiatives, providing program leadership and serving as the primary subject matter expert across the company
Lead Market Intelligence and Evangelism: Conduct in-depth market, competitive, and customer-centric analysis, accurately predicting trends. Serve as the key spokesperson for Pure, delivering compelling business and technical presentations to executive audiences, customers, and partners globally
Coach and Enable Go-to-Market (GTM) Success: Act as the strategic 'quarterback' for GTM execution, partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Field teams to define and drive winning use-case-centric models and ensure high customer adoption and retention
Qualification
Required
Deep Subject Matter Expertise: Recognized expertise in hybrid infrastructure, virtualization technologies, and/or modern container/Kubernetes ecosystems, with a track record of successfully leveraging this knowledge to define and launch high-impact products
Strategic Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to transition from technical expertise to business strategy, including managing P&L health, setting business growth targets, and driving operational excellence for a multi-million/billion dollar product line
Executive Influence and Communication: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a history of successfully influencing executive-level management, major customers, and key internal/external stakeholders regarding matters of critical significance
Autonomous & Critical Problem-Solving: Proven ability to work independently, exercising wide latitude and independent judgment to develop resolutions to critical business issues and broad design matters
