Responsibilities

Develops and improves products and facilitates manufacturing operations
Identifying and implementing new manufacturing processes and associated equipment
Supplying resources for addressing real time problem resolution on the shop floor
Monitoring product yield and cost and driving improvements to both
Supporting MRL progression of all products
Supporting LRIP and transition from design and development phases into production phase
Reviewing designs, drawings, and working plans to improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations
Provides technical leadership and assists in training less experienced engineers to help them diagnose and solve problems and build capabilities
Implementing process certification methodologies into all processes

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, business, supply chain, or related field and 8 years of experience in engineering, supply chain or related field: or an Advanced degree with 5 years of experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred

Experience in a manufacturing engineering role
Ceramic and metal powder experience in the production of product. Ideal applicant has experience with epoxies and molding/injection molding experience
Familiar with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools
