Responsibilities
Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities within target markets
Build and maintain strong relationships with physician leaders, practice administrators, and other decision-makers
Facilitate and coordinate engagement activities including site visits, dinners, and executive introductions
Partner with ESP leadership to prepare presentations, proposals, and messaging for prospective partners
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, finance, operations, HR) to ensure seamless execution of business development activities
Track and report pipeline activity, including progress, risks, and opportunities
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and physician practice needs to inform business development strategies
Represent ESP at industry events, conferences, and networking functions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
8-10 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding growth targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Proven ability to manage the full business development cycle from prospecting through close
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically
Willingness to travel as needed
Operates with integrity, discretion, and professionalism at all times
Builds trust quickly and sustains it through consistent follow-through
Demonstrates a consultative and collaborative approach
Maintains a polished, executive demeanor in all settings
Shows initiative and persistence in managing long-term opportunities
