Responsibilities
Assigned a mentor, an in-depth, hands-on technical project, and the opportunity to share and present your progress and final outcomes with colleagues
Work closely with ISTI to facilitate an area of interest that needs a concentrated effort to demonstrate innovative ways to master complex problems in areas including, but not limited to: Data Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Visualization, Computational Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering
Qualification
Required
Must have earned an Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (or international equivalent) within the last 3 years in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, software engineering, information technology, information systems, data science, data visualization, data analytics or related field
Must have graduated with a cumulative GPA a of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent

Computer programming (Python, C++, etc.)
Familiarity with collecting, cleaning, analyzing data, and interpreting results as demonstrated by coursework
Familiarity with simulation and modeling methods as demonstrated by coursework
Demonstrated ability to communicate (verbal and written) well in a professional scientific context
