The role involves performing routine tests on raw materials, in-process components, and final products, as well as participating in the validation of tests and inspections.

Responsibilities

Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens

Monitor production operations as required

Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products

Other duties may be assigned as needed

Qualification

ACI CertificationPCI CertificationQuality assurance experienceConstruction materials experienceBasic computer skillsProblem solving skillsCommunication skills

Required

Experience in quality assurance

Field Technician Grade I or PCI Level I/II Certification

Experience with construction materials

Basic computer skills

Strong problem solving and communication skills

Regular, reliable attendance

Work productively and meet deadlines timely

Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment

Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies

Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required

May work at various different locations and conditions may vary

Preferred

ACI / PCI Certification

Highly desire a candidate who has attained the ACI
