Avionics Engineering Intern
AstroForge is a company focused on making space resources accessible on Earth by mining asteroids. The Avionics Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience in developing and testing electronics for spacecraft, working closely with experienced engineers on various projects.

Responsibilities
Assist with schematic design, layout, and review of flight and test PCBs
Support development of custom test boxes and fixtures for avionics hardware
Perform board bring-up, debugging, and lab testing using scopes, logic analyzers, and other equipment
Participate in validation and verification testing of avionics systems
Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to integrate and test full systems. Document test procedures and results
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Enrollment in an accredited college or university, with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
Must be a rising senior
Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCAD)
Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and test setups
Solid understanding of electrical fundamentals and circuit analysis
Must not be otherwise employed for the duration of the internship
Must be 18 years or older
Proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Preferred
Familiarity with spacecraft avionics or embedded systems
Exposure to power electronics or RF is a plus
Experience designing or testing electronics for student teams or personal projects
