Responsibilities
Assists the borrower in determining the proper loan program
Assists the borrower in completing the loan application and gathering the necessary paperwork, including pay stubs, tax returns and bank statements, to begin the loan process
Obtains and analyzes a credit report on the borrower
Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services
Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines
Performs other clerical duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred
Previous experience in the mortgage industry with understanding of loan origination and processing
