Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Typically 6-10 years of experience
Expertise in infrastructure design and implementation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective collaboration and communication abilities
Support coverage both on and off hours to aid in problem resolution
Possess experience in a high demand multi-tenant environment
Demonstrate servant leadership
Knowledge in one or more areas of mainframe discipline
ITIL or ITSM oversight or expertise in Release, Change and CMDB
Installation knowledge of ISV SW and IBM Operating systems
Knowledge of z/OS, PARMLIB, Unix SYSTEMS services, HCD
Knowledge of SMP/E or maintenance routines if applicable
Knowledge in JCL
Knowledge system IPL processes
Knowledge of ISPF/TSO
Framework experience in building and maintaining a mainframe platform
Preferred
Advanced certifications in infrastructure engineering or related disciplines preferred
Preferred knowledge of VTAM, TCPIP, IBM connect Direct, CA session manager, CA spool
