Responsibilities
Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individual, partnerships, and corporations
Research complex tax issues and assist with tax planning strategies
Interact with clients to gather necessary financial information and answer tax-related questions
Maintain accurate and organized records of tax-related data
Assist in planning and executing financial statement audits and other assurance engagements
Perform substantive and control testing procedures
Help prepare client financial statements and related footnotes
Document audit findings and support audit conclusions with clear workpapers
Collaborate with senior staff to ensure engagement deliverables are completed accurately and on time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Three plus years of recent public accounting experience, including some exposure to both audit and tax work
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant tax laws
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
CPA License
