Network Technician
Loop Global is revolutionizing the future of EV charging and has quickly become one of the fastest-growing networks in the U.S. They are seeking an experienced Network Technician to ensure that their smart charging stations stay connected and perform optimally as they expand nationwide. The role involves configuring EV charging stations, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and collaborating with various teams to validate new deployments.

Responsibilities
Commission and configure Loop EV charging stations, routers, antennas, and connectivity systems
Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking and connectivity issues (Tier 2 support)
Execute firmware updates (in-field and OTA) and document commissioning results
Partner with Engineering, Product, and Field Ops to validate new firmware and network deployments
Support multi-site installations and manage SIM activations, data usage, and connectivity performance
Qualification
Required
Prior EV-charging experience is required (EVSE commissioning, networking, or telecom integration)
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OCPP, and common network configurations
Hands-on experience with routers, switches, access points, and Ethernet/coax cabling
Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams
Preferred
Knowledge of Linux OS is a plus
