They are seeking an experienced IT Endpoint Engineering Manager to lead their Endpoint Engineering team, overseeing the engineering of desktop environments for optimal performance, security, and user experience.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Endpoint Engineering team, setting clear objectives, evaluating performance, and facilitating professional development
Oversee the design, engineering, and evolution of desktop environments across Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu, ensuring adherence to Zoox standards for performance and stability
Oversee the lifecycle management for high-availability endpoints in critical operational environments (e.g., call centers, commercial operations centers), ensuring maximum reliability and stability within highly restrictive maintenance windows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that are reliable, secure, and scalable
Ensure the development and maintenance of comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures, configuration guides, and knowledge base articles
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing technical teams
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing technical staff
Exceptional communication skills, with ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Proven expertise in engineering and managing desktop environments across multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Ubuntu) using central management tools such as Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, or similar
Experience managing endpoint estates using modern configuration management tools (e.g., SaltStack, Puppet, Ansible) and applying GitOps practices for desired-state configuration and automated deployment
Familiarity with the full VDI lifecycle, from design and implementation to maintenance and optimization, with a focus on delivering a high-quality user experience
Preferred
Experience with the Omnissa Horizon ecosystem is a plus
