Responsibilities

Perform RF analyses to protect customer operations around the globe
Bring technical leadership to a team of engineers performing RF analyses for the DoD across several frequency bands
Validate input data and devise a methodology for RF analyses
Ensure the quality of technical outputs and convey results clearly
Support the Lead engineer in representing the DoD's interests in technical working groups

Required

10+ years of experience with Radio Frequency (RF) engineering
2+ years of experience conducting Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) analyses for DoD spectrum-dependent systems
Knowledge of 4G and 5G RAN technologies, including the RF interfaces
Ability to manage the technical execution of a team of engineers, including performing quality assurance
Ability to produce professional documentation
Ability to clearly present technical topics in high-pressure situations, such as technical committees of peers
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Science, Technology, or Mathematics

Preferred

Experience in MATLAB, Python, or programming languages suitable to augment or enhance COTS RF simulation capabilities
Experience utilizing Systems Tool Kit (STK), Visualyse Professional, Builder, or EDX Signal Pro
Knowledge of DoD or other Service branch spectrum-dependent mission systems, such as those used for radionavigation and communications
Knowledge of RF protocols and propagation models
Knowledge of the NTIA Redbook Table of Allocations and associated regulatory framework
Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Science, Technology, or Mathematics
