Responsibilities

Sort and distribute incoming/outgoing U.S. mail, overnight packages, interoffice correspondence, and product samples across multiple floors and departments
Prepare shipments, operate postage machines, determine cost-effective shipping methods, and coordinate with courier services (FedEx, UPS, etc.) for deliveries and issue resolution
Organize and distribute product samples; remove and stage samples designated for charity or disposal
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mailroom, monitor equipment, record postage meter readings, and initiate service calls as needed
Provide daily updates to the mailroom dashboard and track charity bin usage and movement
Assist with tasks as directed, including conference room setups, supply deliveries, and other building-related needs
Conduct monthly inventory audit to ensure all mailroom and facility supplies are maintained at par levels
Conduct monthly audit of assigned floors to verify proper seat assignments and ensure name labels at cubicles and offices are accurate and up to date
Conduct monthly audit to ensure assigned copy rooms are clean, well-organized, and meet company standards
Perform other duties as assigned by the Mail Center Manager

Required

High school graduate or equivalent
1-3 years' experience in a high-volume corporate mail distribution department or facilities management maintenance department required
Must demonstrate independent decision-making abilities
Must possess strong time management skills
Must be self-motivated and work well with minimal supervision
Familiarity with MS Outlook, Excel and Word software
Job requires ability to work in an office environment
Requires sitting, standing, walking, pushing/pulling carts, lifting, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically
This role requires full-time in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, and client support
Must be able to stand up to a maximum of 8 hours a day
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
