Senior LevelNokia is searching for a qualified candidate to work in a Product Engineering role within their Optical Modules Group. The role involves ensuring performance requirements for photonic integrated circuits are met, performing data analysis, and driving product quality improvements.

Responsibilities
Ensure that photonic integrated circuit performance requirements are defined and met up to the sub-system level (pluggable modules)
Interact with hardware design, test, controls, reliability, and manufacturing to define calibration methods and performance screens
Perform statistical data analysis on large data sets to characterize and improve the product
Support quality analysis and evaluation of development, proto, and pilot units
Drive improvements in product quality during pilot ramp and identify opportunities to increase product volumes and reduce costs
Qualification
Required
M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering (electronics, electro-optics), Materials Science, Photonics, or Physics (optics, semiconductors)
Aptitude to work with a large body of data, perform statistical analysis, and comfortable presenting data and proposals to technical audiences
Team oriented with ability to work cross-functionally
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Experience with coherent optical system test and measurement methods and debug is desirable
