Lead Senior Systems Engineer (Network) (Government)

The Lead Senior Systems Engineer (Network) will support the US Navy by delivering advanced network engineering and infrastructure services, ensuring effective operations at several Naval Bases.

Responsibilities
Designs, implements, and maintains an organization's network infrastructure
Architects complex network systems that support business operations, including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based environments
Evaluates emerging technologies, planning upgrades, and ensuring that network solutions align with strategic goals
Oversees the configuration and deployment of networking hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot advanced issues, and implement security protocols to safeguard against threats
Mentor junior engineers, delegate tasks, and provide technical guidance to ensure the team operates efficiently
Manage network-related projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors to meet deadlines and budget constraints
Qualification
Required
6 years of professional work and leadership experience in relation to design and implementation in local area network (LAN)/ wide area network (WAN) corporate environments using Cisco, Juniper, TCP/IP and VoIP technologies with routers, switches, fiber optics, firewalls and cable plant designs
Required Certification: IAT Level III
TS/SCI (#tssci)
