NEOGOV is seeking a Carpenter I for the Department of Accounting & General Services in Hawaii. The Carpenter I will independently perform a variety of skilled carpentry work, including the construction, alteration, and repair of structural woodwork and wooden articles, and may supervise helpers during the work.

May supervise one or more Carpenter Helpers or other helpers assisting in the work

LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK: The State of Hawaii Requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States

Experience and Training: FOUR (4) YEARS of work experience in performing a variety of ROUGH and FINISHED carpentry work; or an equivalent combination of experience and training

Driver's License: Applicants must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment

Lifting and Carrying: Applicants must be able to lift and carry items of various weights with or without reasonable accommodation
