Produce Ph.D. graduates from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Michigan Technological University
Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the Department of Chemical Engineering based on assignment from the Department Chair
Promote the brand of Michigan Technological University
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
Hold the rank of associate professor with tenure, or the equivalent of, at a research-intensive institution of higher learning
Peer-acknowledged expertise (knowledge, skills, and abilities) in biomaterials to warrant appointment as a tenured professor in Chemical Engineering
Operate a sustainable externally funded research program that advances the state of knowledge in the area of biomaterials
Publish high-impact scholarly articles communicating advances in the field
Produce Ph.D. graduates from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Michigan Technological University
Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the Department of Chemical Engineering based on assignment from the Department Chair
Promote the brand of Michigan Technological University
Complete required university training: Employee Safety Overview, Anti-Harassment, Discrimination, and Retaliation Training, Annual Data Security Training, Annual Title IX Training
Pass a required background check
Ensure eligibility for employment in the United States on or before the effective date of the appointment
Preferred
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline, and hold the rank of professor with tenure, or the equivalent of, at a research-intensive institution of higher learning
Demonstrated success as a researcher in bioengineering
