Lead Senior Systems Administrator (Unix/Linux) (Government)

Responsibilities
Install, configure, monitor, and maintain Unix/Linux servers
Apply security patches, updates, and system hardening in compliance with DoD guidelines
Manage backups, restores, and disaster recovery
Troubleshoot performance and operational issues
Support virtualization, cloud integration, and hybrid deployments
Qualification
Required
6 years of professional experience in Unix/Linux system administration
Expertise in backup/recovery, software management, system security, hardware/software installation, troubleshooting, and tuning
Familiarity with TCP/IP and major security tools (e.g., firewalls) plus vulnerability management
Required Certification: IAT Level III
TS/SCI (#tssci)
