Responsibilities

Generate traffic control plans

Develop traffic signal design

Conduct traffic analysis

Create signing and pavement marking designs

Qualification

AutoCAD Design ExperienceTraffic Control PlansMUTCD/CATTCH codesCalifornia DOT policiesAssociates degree in design

Required

AutoCAD Design Experience

2+ years drafting traffic control plans using AutoCAD

Basic knowledgeable in MUTCD/CATTCH codes and regulations

Preferred

An Associates of Applied Science degree (AAS) in design and drafting technology or a related field

Experience with California DOT and County design policies and procedures

Basic understanding of CalTrans Traffic Control Plans
