Responsibilities
Cultivates a superior clinical identity by leading the service in the development and implementation of evidence-based practices, patient safety initiatives, and quality meaningful partners
Leads efforts to reduce variation in clinical practice. Drive performance improvement initiatives designed to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost. Foster a culture of accountability and transparency in the provision of care
Fosters an unparalleled patient experience culture that differentiates the service line as the leading place to practice and receive healthcare, attracting physicians, caregivers, and patients. Ensure physician alignment, engagement, and ease of access/practice
Leverages various feedback mechanisms to benchmark performance and identify opportunities to improve customer/patient satisfaction. Develop and implement strategies to elevate the patient experience
Fosters a culture that inspires commitment to the vision/mission/values of the organization. Ensure employees are recognized, valued, and supported. Develop and implement strategies to elevate employee engagement
Identifies development opportunities or training needs of individual employees and teams. Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance
Lead service line strategic planning and business development. Identify stakeholder engagement strategies, new service line offerings, technology advances, and other opportunities to drive differentiation and support the growth agenda
Collaborate with administrative team and physicians to enhance existing services or develop new service offerings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in health administration, business, or related field of study required
Five (5) years of demonstrated experience leading business development, operations management, and/or financial/strategic planning for a clinical or program of service line
Preferred
Master's Degree in business administration or healthcare administration preferred
A minimum of 5 years clinical experience is a decided plus, with 3 additional years in program development
Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable)
