Program Coordinator, Early Head Start

Providing staff with tools needed to meet Early Head Start (EHS) requirements
Supporting staff in meeting program goals
Providing training for the EHS program staff and parents
Serving as a resource and model
Providing group and individualized coaching that supports Developmentally Appropriate Practices
Establishing Project Base Coaching Model for program to meet standard
Providing oversight support for service area specialties such as Classroom Mentor, Family Advocates, and Teachers
Ensuring developing nurturing and positive relationships with children and families that will meet program School Readiness Goals
Monitoring program data systems to ensure utilization of a set classroom observation tool and schedule for obtaining program data
Providing monitoring tools to follow up on scheduled monthly, quarterly, yearly data requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in early childhood development, Education or related field
Minimum of 3 year's relevant experience
Valid driver's license that meets The Salvation Army insurance requirements
Must have access to private transportation during working hours

Preferred

Master's degree
NYS teaching certificate
Prior experience with early education database systems such as TSG, PROMIS, etc
