Responsibilities

Utilize hand tools and machining equipment such as lathes, stamping presses, and electrical discharge machining to produce mold components
Measure and inspect mold parts using precision instruments like micrometers to ensure accuracy
Assemble molds according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and function
Perform welding tasks as needed for mold assembly and repair
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mold production and functionality
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols

Required

Proven experience as a Mold maker or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
Proficiency in CAD software for mold design
Strong understanding of mold assembly techniques and the use of hand tools
Experience with micrometers and other precision measuring instruments is essential
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
