Responsibilities

Identify, research, and prospect higher education institutions with upcoming or ongoing tech initiatives, ranging from CRM architecture and marketing analytics to chatbots, AI pilots, and more
Build relationships with key stakeholders (CIOs, Directors of IT, department heads, procurement teams, etc.)
Lead thoughtful discovery conversations to understand challenges and propose value-driven solutions
Pitch OneOrigin’s services (dedicated development teams and custom tech solutions) based on client needs, with flexibility to support a wide range of institutional priorities and technical goals
Collaborate with delivery and technical teams to shape proposals that align with capacity and capability
Maintain accurate opportunity data in Salesforce and drive deals from discovery to close
Represent OneOrigin at virtual and in-person higher ed events or conferences as needed

Qualification

B2B sales experienceConsultative sellingRelationship-buildingSoftware development understandingSalesforce proficiencyHigher education familiarityCommunication skillsSelf-starter

Required

4+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on selling solution services or technical consulting
Proven success in navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
Understanding of software development processes and technical project cycles
Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
Excellent communicator—able to convey complex ideas in a simple, engaging way
Self-starter with a track record of owning pipeline and delivering results

Preferred

Familiarity with higher education and/or public sector sales cycles is a plus
