Hypernative is an early-stage startup that solves major challenges in the worlds of blockchain, crypto, and web3. They are looking for a Web3 Security Consultant to assist customers with security analyses, monitoring tools, and response plans.

Responsibilities

Asset Analysis and Risk Assessment - assist customers in conducting thorough analyses of their Web3 assets, evaluate their security postures, and assess associated risks

Monitoring and Response Plan Development - advise customers on optimal configurations for risk monitoring tools, develop comprehensive monitoring and response plans that detail preventive measures, detection techniques, and response strategies to mitigate potential security incidents

Implementation Assistance - assist customers in setting up and operationalizing the security monitoring tools and response plans. Provide hands-on support and guidance during the implementation phase to ensure seamless integration of security practices with existing customer workflows

Customer Collaboration and Support - maintain continuous communication with customers to update them on potential security issues and adjustments in the threat landscape

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

In-depth understanding of Web3 technologies, decentralized systems, and blockchain security concepts

Advanced understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards as they apply to digital assets and blockchain technologies

Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to articulate complex security concepts clearly and professionally to a non-technical audience

Proven track record of effective customer-facing engagements, demonstrating patience, understanding, and a customer-first attitude
