Responsibilities

Designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality backend code and services
Integrating modern security practices and technologies across the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps)
Working alongside InfoSec and DevOps teams to implement and maintain security scanning tools (SAST, SCA)
Identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities and code flaws
Implementing robust authentication and authorization methods (e.g., MFA, biometrics)
Ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS
Collaborating on secure software architecture and CI/CD pipeline integration
Contributing to the stability and maintainability of our codebase through reviews, testing, and documentation
Providing support to the team by troubleshooting technical issues and serving as an escalation point for complex security-related problems
Staying current with cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices
Other areas as necessary

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
7+ years of hands-on experience building secure, high-performance web applications
Proficiency in C#, Java, VB.NET, and ASP.NET
Experience with frameworks and tools such as Visual Studio, MS-SQL Server, MS Web Services, Angular, and Blazor
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Deep understanding of secure coding practices, encryption algorithms, hashing, digital signatures, and certificate management
Knowledge of security protocols (SSL/TLS, HTTPS) and vulnerability management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you'll be part of a tight-knit, collaborative team

Preferred

Experience in the healthcare or pharmacy tech industry
Hands-on experience with confidential computing and next-gen security tooling
