Responsibilities
Security and Reporting Implementation: Lead in the design, implementation, and management of security and Reporting controls for the Workday environment. Ensure security configurations and Reports are robust and effective
Risk Assessment: Lead regular security assessments and SOX audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks within the Workday environment. Collaborate with the risk management team to develop and implement mitigation strategies
Access Management: Lead the Implementation and management of role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure appropriate access levels for users
Incident Response: Lead in the investigation and response to security incidents related to the Workday environment. Lead in root cause analyses and remediation efforts
Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices. Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and guidelines
Collaboration: Work closely with IT, HR, Finance and other business units to understand security requirements and integrate security measures into business processes. Provide technical Leadership and guidance to stakeholders
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices. Proactively suggest and drive improvements to enhance the security and reporting posture of the Workday environment
SOX Compliance: Support SOX audit activities by ensuring Workday security controls are in place and functioning as intended. Prepare documentation and evidence to demonstrate compliance with SOX requirements
Change Management: Manage the ongoing change management process that ensures all changes to the workday platform have the proper documentation, testing evidence, and approvals to move forward. Continuously evaluate opportunities to streamline, improve, and enhance the process
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 8 years of experience with Workday functional configuration (Core HCM, Security, and Reporting)
At least 4 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing strategic projects
Preferred
9+ years of experience in Workday security administration
2+ years of experience configuring SSO with Workday using SAML 2.0 and integrating with enterprise identity providers
Workday Pro Certification in HCM
Workday Pro Certification in Security
1+ year of experience with Workday Financials security module
2+ years of experience in Agile practices
