Responsibilities
Within 30 days you will learn to accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in customers' homes
Within 15 days you will be able to provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment for work performed
Within 30 days you will be able to ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain company vehicle and equipment
Within 30 days you will be able to complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
At hire you will perform other duties as needed, including cross-training in related positions
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience as a technician in a technical or skilled trade field, with relevant customer service experience or in a relevant role
Must be at least 18 years of age
Willingness to learn new technology to complete daily work
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance
Physical ability to perform strenuous work under varying circumstances
Practical Test: During the interview process show us your mechanical skills by disassembling and reassembling an appliance—no help, just your research and your tools
Mechanical Aptitude: If you've worked on engines, HVAC systems, electrical components, or other mechanical systems, this is the job for you
Problem-Solving Skills: You thrive on diagnosing and repairing complex systems, using logic and tools
Hands-On Training: Ride along with seasoned techs from day one, learning directly in the field
Commitment to Learning: Online homework and regular assessments every 2 weeks will ensure you're progressing
High Standards and Accountability: If you fail to meet objectives during our regular assessments, you won't continue with the company
