Responsibilities

Plans and performs scheduled services on equipment (generators, diesel and or gas engines, transfer switches, switch gear, and etc.) in the field using proper tools and procedures
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently; work orders, service reports, allocation of time, and tracking parts
Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring customer needs and deadlines are met
Complete all scheduled repairs in a safe and efficient manner
Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations
Adheres to all safety rules and maintains quality housekeeping in work area

Qualification

Mechanical experienceGenerator maintenanceCaterpillar equipmentTransfer switchesUninterrupted power source (UPS)Valid Driver’s LicenseChauffer’s License

Required

High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
3 years or more of mechanical experience with engines/generators
Valid Driver's License

Preferred

5 years or more experience with engines/generators, preferably Caterpillar equipment
Chauffer's License or ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment
Experience with transfer switches, switch gear, uninterrupted power source (UPS) equipment
