Responsibilities

Overseeing project design progression from inception to completion including design, permits, as-builts, and operations and maintenance manuals
Develop a comprehensive design plan to meet schedules and budgets
Participate in team and on-site progress meetings
Understand and follow all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications while ensuring AHJ requirements and procedures are followed
Multi-task and prioritize among assignments with a strong adherence to deadlines

Required

5-7 years' experience in the design of fire alarms, special hazard suppression, and pre-engineered systems or related experience
Previous experience working in AutoCAD is required
Ability to multi-task and prioritize among assignments with a strong adherence to deadlines
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge
Ability to pre-plan and execute tasks with a great amount of detail

Preferred

Experience in REVIT is strongly preferred
Prior industrial design experience
Knowledge of low voltage wiring and conventional and/or addressable fire alarm panels
Experience and knowledge of special hazard fire suppression systems
NICET Certification preferred
Previous experience in Revit or BIM modeling is preferred
