Responsibilities

Review proposals, budgets, and client agreements to ensure alignment with project goals and company standards

Lead, mentor, and oversee the technical work of team members on complex modeling, engineering design and calculations, technical reports, regulatory permitting (local and state), and public/client presentations

Prepare responses to client RFQs and solicitations

Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, public agency representatives, and community leaders

Oversee project managers to ensure effective coordination of project tasks, budgets, and schedules

Participate in the development and refinement of design and production standards

Provide leadership and actively participate in relevant professional and civic organizations

Guide and support the technical and career growth of project team members

Conduct or supervise technical investigations, including post-flood forensic analysis, FEMA permitting, and regulatory compliance issues

Required

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of employment

Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in stormwater modeling and/or design, including at least 10 years in managing H&H professionals

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated success in building and maintaining professional relationships with clients, public officials, and community leaders

Proven ability to lead and mentor engineers and technical staff

Active involvement in professional associations and civic organizations, preferably in a leadership capacity

P.E. license in Texas held for over 10 years

Preferred

Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) designation
