NPD Program Management Intern (Summer 2026)

Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company (PacSci EMC), an operating company under Ralliant, is seeking a New Product Development (NPD) Program Management Intern for Summer 2026. This internship aims to provide students with hands-on experience in supporting new product development programs, program execution, and cross-functional collaboration in the aerospace and defense manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

Assist in coordinating proposal efforts, customer support activities, and program execution tasks
Support Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) on development programs from proposal through product launch
Help analyze process, capacity, and scheduling challenges using business tools and data
Contribute to program budgeting efforts, including tracking product cost targets
Assist in preparing and releasing program documentation defining scope, schedule, and budget requirements
Support management and customer presentations for assigned proposals and programs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and contracts, to ensure customer requests and schedules are met
Help develop preliminary Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) during bid phases and track updates during execution
Participate in contract reviews and negotiations alongside program managers and contract managers
Support prioritization and mitigation planning for facility capacity and resource constraints
Travel as required by program and customer needs
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Junior or senior standing, graduating in 2026 or 2027
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate across technical and business functions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Microsoft Project preferred
Interest in aerospace and defense, government contracting, and program management
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Due to contractual and regulatory requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. PacSci EMC is a U.S. Department of State ITAR-regulated employer. To comply with ITAR-controlled contracts, this position requires U.S. citizenship
