Responsibilities
Originate, structure, and execute hedging strategies for clients, exercising discretion and independent judgment on matters that impact financial risk and liquidity
Advise clients on managing macro market exposures across interest rates, foreign exchange, and credit derivatives, applying advanced financial analysis
Analyze derivative pricing models, prepare client-facing materials, and evaluate financial statements to recommend strategies that align with regulatory and risk frameworks
Ensure compliance with ISDA documentation, CSAs, and all applicable regulatory requirements
Develop solutions informed by market trends and structural opportunities, applying judgment to meet client requirements within established policies
Contribute to the development of FX platforms that improve transaction efficiency and profitability, making recommendations that influence operational outcomes
Collaborate with business lines to shape new products and strategies that support organizational objectives
Prepare proposals, pitchbooks, and presentations for client derivative solutions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Represent the bank at industry events to maintain expertise and strengthen professional relationships
Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and emerging opportunities that affect the bank’s strategic direction
Travel occasionally to meet with clients and engage in business development activities requiring professional judgment
Serve as a subject matter expert in derivatives and FX products, providing guidance to internal teams and clients on complex financial matters
Qualification
Required
2-4 years proven experience in capital markets with a direct focus on Global Markets, including foreign exchange (FX), interest rate derivatives, and fixed income products
Knowledge of interest rate derivatives, foreign exchange (FX), and fixed income products, including strategies for client engagement and solution structuring
Ability to originate and structure derivative transactions for corporate clients, exercising discretion and independent judgment in complex financial matters
Strong understanding of financial markets, macroeconomics, fixed income products, interest rate curve construction, derivative valuation, pricing methodologies, and hedging strategies
Proficiency in risk management concepts and metrics (SA-CCR, PFE, CVA, IM/VM) to evaluate and mitigate exposure
Knowledge of trade reconciliation processes and ability to resolve issues requiring analysis and judgment
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively with a high degree of organization and attention to detail
Strong analytical skills with capability to apply financial modeling techniques to assess derivatives and recommend solutions
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to articulate complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders and influence decisions
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, investors, and financial partners
Ability and willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events requiring professional judgment
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) – Preferred
Financial Risk Manager (FRM) – Preferred
