Responsibilities
Collaborate on exciting projects, from data collection and analysis to reporting and supporting your team on in-field and in-office technical tasks
Apply best practices and identify innovative solutions in active transportation master planning and design assignments, engineering analyses, and studies for multi-modal transportation, transit, and traffic projects
Develop progressive experience in project management and coordination, preparing you for leadership opportunities
Work with a multi-disciplinary team including transportation/traffic engineers, planners, designers, and landscape architects
Prepare and oversee technical memos and reports to communicate results and recommendations that influence project decisions
Engage with clients and communities through meetings and public consultations
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Transportation Engineering and a P.Eng license
5–8+ years of experience in transportation engineering and planning, including transportation impact assessments, active transportation infrastructure design, and project management
Proficiency in transportation software and methods (e.g., Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, Sidra, VISSIM, VISTRO, Aimsun) and strong technical writing skills
Experience in traffic operations and site analysis, with the ability to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions
A collaborative mindset and leadership skills to manage projects and client relationships effectively
Preferred
A passion for transportation and designing multi-modal solutions that improve safety and connectivity
