Electrical Mechanical Technician

Master level mechanical or electrical skills
Exceptional ability to conceive and prototype mechanical/vehicle devices
Exceptional problem-solving and innovation skills
Provides input and suggestions to designers and engineers
Works independently on special products and prototypes in conjunction with engineers to meet defined schedules
Provides oversight and review of work performed by junior personnel
Works with engineering to develop specialized components and products
Provides guidance and leadership to less senior staff
Works well with no supervision to complete multiple tasks
Qualification
Required
High school diploma; 5 years of exceptional experience in conducting related electrical/mechanical assembly tasks; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field. May require a technical degree
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance

Preferred
Specific experience related to software engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics, robotics, and equipment maintenance is desired
Must have working knowledge of AutoCAD and engineering drafting
An associate in science (AS) degree in engineering or scientific discipline with at least 5 years of RDT&E experience and a proven record of the specific experiences described are acceptable
