AIR OPERATION GROUP TRAINING SPECIALIST(TITLE 32)

Responsibilities
Oversees, monitor, and evaluate military /ancillary training requisites for the unit
This includes on-the-job training (OJT) and formal training, including Air Operations Center (AOC) formal schools acquisition and scheduling
Subject matter areas for which training is administered involve a wide variety of technical, professional, clerical, and operational skills commonly found in an Air Operations Group organization
Advises the Commander, training officers, and supervisors on the status, progress, and programming of training
Plans, compiles, and forwards training projections to Host Wing and NGB, MAJCOM agencies
Monitors and reviews all training applications to ensure the proper documentation, justification, and qualifications
Coordinates with higher headquarters on matters pertaining to formal school training quotas
Identifies resources and funding requirements to accomplish required training
Qualification
Required
Must have demonstrated the ability to follow directions, read, understand, and retain instructions, regulations, and procedures that otherwise validate the ability to perform or learn to perform the duties of the position
Must have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-07 level or the equivalent which provided knowledge of Army or Air Force education and training programs regarding their principles and procedures
Experience in performing interviews and counseling techniques; training techniques and instruction methods; task analysis procedures, learning processes, curriculum development, training evaluations, and education and training systems and products
Experience in scheduling training events and facilities; supporting assistance visits and training meetings; or assisting in work center and individual job qualification standard development; education institution registration requirements; and military personnel classification system and policies
Experience in the capabilities of communicative interpersonal skill applications and distance learning concepts
Experience as a participant and presenter during training and military or civilian conference events
