8+ years expInvictus Strategy & Solutions is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business providing strategic workforce solutions. They are seeking a Cloud Design Engineer to design and deliver secure web interfaces for Big Data cloud systems supporting national security missions.
Responsibilities
Design implement and test web user interfaces that read from and write to cloud data systems
Execute across requirements implementation testing and documentation with attention to usability security and performance
Propose improved techniques to analyze data stored in cloud big table and cloud distributed file systems
Lead assigned development tasks and ensure adherence to quality standards and processes
Resolve defect reports and recommend improvements to documentation and software practices
Qualification
Required
Eight years of software engineering experience including two years with Big Data cloud or distributed computing
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field or four additional years of directly related cloud software engineering experience in lieu of degree
Experience with information retrieval in cloud environments including HDFS HBase Lucene Solr or MongoDB
Proficiency with Java object oriented design REST services Spring MVC or J2EE and modern web standards HTML CSS JavaScript AJAX
Experience securing distributed user interfaces using PKI server authentication and corporate authentication services
Linux Red Hat or CentOS experience and configuration management tools such as Subversion ClearQuest or Razor
Employment eligibility: All applicants must be United States citizens
All roles are on site in Annapolis Junction, Maryland and require an active TS SCI with a current Full Scope Polygraph
Preferred
Experience in at least one SIGINT collection or geolocation domain
