Responsibilities
Responsible for accurately obtaining and entering information for 50+ data fields
Use pre-determined interviewing techniques and scripting when obtaining information from patients and/or patient representatives, in person or via phone
Must demonstrate positive customer service, even at the most difficult of times both face to face, phone and via email
Understand, explain, and accurately complete required facility forms before obtaining and witnessing patient signatures
Responsible for payment collection activities, including handling cash
Meets or exceeds productivity and quality goals
May be assigned to work edits/errors out of designated work queue’s or reports
Perform other duties as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Prior healthcare registration experience
1 year of medical office, hospital or medical insurance related experience
