Offshore Installation Technician (P)

Responsibilities
Perform, supervise, train and ensure safety during all phases of Wind Turbine Installation
Prepare transition piece, tools, equipment and components during loadout and installation, as well as perform closure of punch lists during installation
Keep and maintain accurate logbooks, documentation and reports as required by company policy
Supervise and conduct the training of new colleagues / 3rd party employees and ensure that work is conducted according to the defined workflow and work instructions
Act as signaler in accordance with work instructions, checklists and lift plans
Lead small teams and keep up to date with all required training as defined by your role profile
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience of all aspects of Wind Turbine Installation including Slinging, Signaling, Mechanical Completion, Retrofit & Snagging works
Knowledge of Low Voltage Electrical systems and isolation procedures, preferably in the form of a recognized qualification
High level of Health and Safety focus with experience of working with safe systems of work
Ability to work as part of a team and/or on own initiative
Ability and confidence to work at height
Appropriate physical fitness to climb and undertake some physical work
Comfortable and experienced working in adverse weather conditions
Willingness to travel extensively within the USA, Europe, and APAC
Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for area managed
Good knowledge of other areas in the company and how they interact
Full understanding and application of management approaches for work direction, motivation, and performance management
Effective communication across various organizational levels, considering diverse cultures
Advanced IT literacy
Legally authorized for employment in the United States without requiring employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future
