2026 Summer Intern-Systems Planning Engineering
Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is a prime contractor for the US Department of Energy, responsible for managing liquid waste operations at the Savannah River Site. They are seeking a Systems Planning Engineering Intern to assist in producing analytics and developing strategic run scenarios while interfacing with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Assist in producing effective analytics reflecting digital-twin liquid waste operating facility performance
Interface with stakeholders to develop strategic run scenarios
Produce communication tools highlighting system insights
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited four-year university
Currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Systems Engineering or Industrial Engineering
A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above
Completed their Sophomore year
Must pass General Employment Training (GET)
Must pass Drug and Alcohol Testing (DAT)
Possess a working knowledge of Power BI, Java, Excel and SQL
A valid Driver's License, Registration and proof of automobile insurance is required for driving on the Savannah River Site
