Responsibilities
Running brake press
Conducting tests to support Business Unit and New Product Development teams
Regularly communicate test status and issues that arise
Assist in design, building, and supporting NPD needs
Utilize 6S principles and perform lab audits to ensure lab spaces remain clean and organized
Completing all necessary safety training and conduct STOP audits to ensure a safe work environment
Qualification
Required
Brake Press operating/programming experience
Understanding of CNC Panel Bending equipment, Mechanical and Hydraulic presses, spot welder and/or automated spot welder, laser or brake press
Sheet metal fabrication
CAD/SOLIDWORKS experience (2+ years)
Preferred
Associates degree
Teamwork and good communication
Able to provide input on best practices for new part development
