Responsibilities
Lead and scale engineering teams across multiple domains (20+ engineers)
Build world-class engineering culture focused on excellence, innovation, and customer impact
Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent at all levels
Establish clear career progression paths and mentorship programs
Drive organizational effectiveness through strong team structures and processes
Define and execute long-term technical strategy aligned with business goals
Ensure that system reliability, performance, and security meet company and healthcare industry standards
Champion adoption of modern technologies and engineering best practices
Oversee technical debt management and platform modernization initiatives
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and GTM teams to deliver customer value
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Drive engineering input into product roadmap and strategic planning
Ensure engineering capacity planning aligns with business priorities
Establish engineering metrics, KPIs, and reporting systems
Oversee engineering budgets and resource allocation
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.)
Qualification
Required
15+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
Proven track record of scaling engineering organizations (20+ person teams)
Experience building and operating SaaS platforms at significant scale
Deep understanding of modern software architecture and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Experience with web applications, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks
Hands on experience and enthusiasm with AI development tools and feature development
Exceptional leadership and communication skills
Experience building high-performing, diverse engineering teams
Strong business acumen and ability to align technical decisions with business outcomes
Track record of driving organizational change and process improvements
Preferred
Background in healthcare technology, regulated industries, or security-critical systems
