K2 Medical Research is a privately-owned clinical research facility specializing in multiphasic clinical trials. The Patient Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting patients for studies, administering prescreening surveys, and maintaining the patient database.

Responsibilities

Recruit for multiple studies by contacting referrals generated by our marketing/outreach efforts

Identify patients from our internal database who may qualify for new trials

Assist in identifying studies patients potentially qualify for and schedule them for an initial visit at one of our facilities

Keep an updated tracker with all scheduled patients and visit outcomes

Follow up with patients as necessary

Thoroughly understand all assigned studies through reading protocols, resource materials, and attending trainings

Other tasks as assigned

Required

Minimum of a High School diploma

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to complete training and follow study protocol

Flexibility and ability to prioritize and multi-task throughout the day

Must be detail oriented, and self-motivated

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Willingness to interact with a diverse patient population

Preferred

Associate degree

1 year experience in a customer service-related position

Experience in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
