Responsibilities
Manage the EPC Contractor in development and deploy Honeywell PLC code for automation projects to implement control strategies
Review, provide input and troubleshoot Honeywell PLC software in ladder, function chart, structured text, or sequential function languages
Read, understand, and review electrical and control schematics
Review designs to debug and resolve software and control systems
Collaborate with other client groups to facilitate a design and systems functional approach for the facilities
Execute witness testing of all phases of the project from internal testing to customer acceptance (FAT, FIT, etc.)
Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and provide technical assistance to customers
Assist in on-site commissioning and provide customer training on system operation and basic troubleshooting
Verification of creation and maintenance technical documentation, including system designs, test plans, and project updates
Track project progress, manage tasks, and communicate with interdisciplinary teams and leadership
Qualification
Required
5 years of Honeywell PLC programming experience required
Knowledge of common industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet.)
Ability to read Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), electrical diagrams and logic diagrams
Strong electrical & mechanical troubleshooting skills
Exceptional technical writing and communication skills
Ability to adapt well to engineering standards
Aptitude to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
